2016 Elder Access to Justice Conference

The 2016 Elder Access to Justice conference will be held on Friday, June 17 at the Montgomery County Community College, Parkhouse Hall. Registration begins at 8:30am and program begins promptly at 9:00am.

This year’s theme is Scams, Shams and Seniors: How do we keep them safe? The event is moderated by Judge Lois Murphy and our keynote speaker will be David Hoffman, JD, FCPP. Mr. Hoffman was an Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania for 12 ½ years. He prosecuted health care fraud matters, both civilly and criminally. Mr. Hoffman led the first health care fraud RICO prosecution in the district and pioneered the use of the federal civil False Claims Act to address failure of care matters.
Workshop topics include: How to protect yourself from Protectors, Criminal and Civil Response, Prevent, Detect, Report: Curbing Health Care Fraud, and Residents Rights and Risks. Workshop presenters are local experts and all sessions will be repeated twice.

The conference is free thanks to our sponsors and breakfast and lunch are included. CLEs pending.
