The PA-SMP released a new ScamWire warning consumers to “be suspicious of anyone who asks for your personal information and claims to be from Medicare or uses the word Medicare in the name of their company.” Beneficiaries should never give their Medicare or Social Security numbers to anyone who contacts them.
