Golden Games 2012 Postponed!

CARIE’s 25th Annual Golden Games is cancelled for Thursday November 8 due to the weather.  A new date will be announced for the spring once the event can be rescheduled.  Golden Games brings together elderly residents of nursing homes and members of LIFE programs in Philadelphia. Fifteen teams of approximately 150 participants will compete in seven Olympic style events, including walker and wheelchair races, volleyball tosses, and a “hat and scarf” relay.  Winning teams will receive trophies at the Golden Games closing ceremony.
