CARIE Submits Comment to the Medicare Red Tape Relief Project

In August 2017, CARIE comments in response to the “Medicare Red Tape Relief Project,” a request from U.S. House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Health, on ways to eliminate red tape and bureaucracy in the Medicare program.  The recommendations had to be submitted on the committee’s form.  CARIE submitted two forms, the first addressed observation status and the second COBRA related Medicare penalties.
