Today February 15, 2017 Diane Menio, Executive Director is testifying before the US Senate Special Committee on Aging Hearing titled “Stopping Scams: Developments in Financial Fraud Affecting Seniors” about the affects of financial exploitation. Diane will be accompanied by Charlotte Kitler from Luzuerne County, PA, a volunteer in our Pennsylvania Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) program. In their remarks today, They’ll talk about health care fraud and abuse, scams, and financial exploitation aimed at elders. The hearing is today from 2:30 to 4:30pm.
