Webinar: What Restorative Justice for Older Adults Looks Like
Join CARIE and Good Shepherd Mediation on July 28th from 2PM-3:30PM for a webinar to de-mystify what a Restorative Justice process in our program actually looks like. In the webinar we’ll give some background on what our program does, what restorative justice is, play out a fictionalized scenario involving an older adult who has experienced harm from a family member and participates in a restorative justice process, and have a discussion and Q&A about any concerns or questions you might have on behalf of your clients.
Just as everything else in our lives has been shifting and changing these last few months, the way we understand and enact justice is different too. Restorative Justice is a way of dealing with conflict and harm that puts the power back in the hands of the people most affected, and we hope you’ll join us in changing how we handle the ways conflict and harm affects older adults.
