CARIE continues its series on the application and redetermination process for Community HealthChoices (CHC) Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS) with a webinar focusing on Functional Eligibility Determinations. During this webinar, representatives from Aging Well and Community Legal Services will speak about the Functional Eligibility Determination (FED) tool and assessment process. The following will be discussed during this webinar:
– the FED tool
– the role of Area Agencies on Aging
– the scoring used to determine whether Nursing Facility Clinically Eligible (NFCE)
– applicant’s options if disagree with an assessment’s outcome
